From Accident to Hospital to Hell..

November 26. William had a horrible crash at the World Championships in Vienna IFMXF. Austria. By performing his last trick he did a very extensive Ruller backflip, but came up too short and had a heavy fall. He was unconscious for a few seconds. The medical team was immediately activated and brought William to the hospital. William seems not to have his best year. He stayed 2 days and 3 nights in the intensive care with a internal bleeding. Has far we know the current status of William is stable. and he didn't had no surgery until now. But his condition is still in danger. But as long as he stays in bed and make no critical movements he normally will recover well. For the next days, William is still in the hospital for observation of Vienna ...

December 7. Day 12 And still in hospital in Vienna. This morning they have taken a new scan from Williams' spleen and everything looks pretty good .. Now William is just waiting for the doctors who give him the confirmation that his condition is well. And a report when he may leave the hospital. This injury was extremely dangerous and life threatening without treatment. But will recovered fully without any side effects.

December 8. Finally the doctors have confirmed that William finally may leave the hospital on friday back to Belgium. And also take care with the Belgian insurance.

December 9. Doctors give false hope by first saying that William can go to home by Plane. Insurance will only send ambulance supposedly in a safer way to get home. William wants to get out of here as soon as possible and certainly not with Ambulance +-1000km to be transported to Belgium. William calls with the insurance and says he will act at his own risk. Insurance allows this. William booked himself a flight and let the paper print in the hospital. Suddenly the Doctors of Hospital  no longer want William to leave without medical assistance. Claiming only now that flying would be extremely dangerous by the pressure in the Plane. William's insurance only wants to send him home by ambulance and gives a even more illogical reason: flying is too dangerous for shock. Doctors came now suddenly with the information that the spleen is stilll too weak and it's too dangerous to leave the hospital William is distraught and depressed by false promises and lies!.

December 10. Ambulance on the way from Belgium to Austria Vienna hospital. William will be transported tomorrow by ambulance to hospital in Herentals Belgium. Just one more final step and hopefully this nightmare is finally over .

December 12. Home at last!.. William had to stay one more night in the hospital in Belgium herentals and finally in the afternoon he was allowed to go home. Finally it's over. William's spleen is still weak and will take several weeks before he will be in top shape. And he may certainly not ride his bike until the end of January. But everything is definitely coming well.
